From Friday April 17th thru May 3rd, participating restaurants in the area will be offering a prixe fixe menu for Long Beach, New York’s 1st annual Restaurant Week.  Cobbled together by the LB Chamber of Commerce and with a little help from Point Click Pete from Point Click Eat, this event will present a great opportunity to sample some of the great food this city has to offer without breaking the bank.  Think of it as a ‘Stimulus Act’ for us diners.

Long Beach, New York. ‘The City by the Sea’. So close, distance-wise, to the lightning paced hustle of Manhattan, and yet this city’s mindset is so far from that. We also have Vegetarian Japanese, Honduran, American Pub, Mexican and much more. It’s like the global food choices you can find at Epcot Center, without all the annoying weirdo characters milling about. This new website, LB Foodie is going to try and bring you some insight into the establishments that are in Long Beach by way of reviews, written by us, as well as reviews that can be submitted to us from you. We will also list upcoming events in Long Beach, as well as news, related to dining out in Long Beach, as well as other topics that will be interesting to our readers.
