Long Beach, New York. ‘The City by the Sea’. So close, distance-wise, to the lightning paced hustle of Manhattan, and yet this city’s mindset is so far from that. But do not confuse this barrier island with the suburbs of LI. Most people that live here are quick to remind you that Long Beach is not on Long Island – and with good reason. There is certain uniqueness to Long Beach that sets it apart from any of the neighboring communities. This is not your typical LI town.
